Courage – Our Statement

A show of “Courage” for Inspire Performance.

On Sunday 5th February 2017, Victoria Boltwood (Founder of Inspire Performance) produced and performed in Courage, an evening of Song, Dance and Acting to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research UK. The company raised over £1000 for the charity and were very happy to have reached the target goal of £1000 raised on the night. Through ticket sales for the show, collection buckets and donations, Victoria was able to fulfil her dream. By providing a quality production, utilising local talents of professionals and her students in order to raise funds for a charity organization very close to her heart. The Mayor and Mayoress of Crawley both attended along with the other 80+ audience members filled with family and friends of the performers, and the feedback was truly amazing. Victoria has been overwhelmed with the comments from the audience, including the Mayor and she would like to thank everyone who attended for their support.

“It has always been my dream to have my own company that supports charity organisations such as Cancer Research UK. I have always loved to sing! My training and experience has driven me to create Inspire Performance, to showcase professional talents as well as my students in training. Passing on my knowledge and creating a platform for the students that I teach to shine is truly rewarding. Everyone involved in my show come from and live in Crawley, West Sussex. It’s important to me that I give back to my community and help develop performing arts locally. This type of company just wasn’t around when I was at school and what I’m trying to achieve is something that can slowly build over time with more students and professionals, in order to create the opportunities for all involved to learn from each other and grow in confidence. What better way to achieve this than by supporting Charities in the process! Inspire Performance – Create, Collaborate, Captivate.”
